Lately, the stars have been loud. If you’re feeling like life is asking you to shed old skins, to face deep truths, or to question everything you thought you wanted—you’re not alone. Vedic astrology, the ancient science of light, offers a powerful lens to understand these tides of change. And right now, they are very real.
In this post, I want to explore some of the current planetary transits through a personal lens—how they show up in my own life and in the stories of people around me—and how we can work with them consciously.
Venus in Aries – Love Through Fire
Venus has entered Ashwini, the first nakshatra of Aries. This is where Venus—planet of love, beauty, and connection—travels through the fire of rebirth. Ashwini is fast, fiery, impulsive. It wants healing now, transformation now. But Venus isn’t quite comfortable here. It prefers peace, sweetness, harmony.
Over the past week, I’ve noticed how this fire has shown up in my own relationships. Patterns I thought I had healed reappeared—but this time, I could meet them with less fear. Venus in Aries isn’t about perfect love. It’s about courageous love. It asks: Can you be true to your own fire, even if it means risking comfort?
I’ve seen this play out in clients too—old emotional contracts breaking, a deep need to reclaim joy, desire, movement. If this is you, trust the impulse to move, to initiate, to choose you—even if it feels messy at first.
Mars Gandanta – The Karmic Warrior at the Edge
Mars is moving through the last degrees of Cancer, known as the Gandanta zone—a karmic knot between water and fire. This is a place of unraveling, and Mars here can bring deep emotional intensity, frustration, even exhaustion.
For me, it’s felt like an inner warrior waking up from a dream, disoriented but determined. Old fears about safety, protection, and agency have bubbled up—especially around home and security. But underneath, I feel the deeper invitation: What am I truly willing to fight for?
This is a time to release emotional baggage from past battles. Mars will soon enter Leo and come together with Ketu—activating a call to pure, unapologetic authenticity. Don’t be surprised if your energy shifts dramatically in the coming days. From water to fire. From drowning to dancing.
Jupiter in Gemini – The Seeker Learns to Speak Again
Jupiter, the great teacher, has just moved into Gemini. After a year in grounded Taurus, the energy now becomes curious, light, flexible, and fast. Jupiter in Gemini wants us to ask new questions, to rewire old beliefs, to play with ideas again.
For those of us on the path of teaching, guiding, or holding space, this is a beautiful time to refresh your voice. Start that podcast. Reignite your writing. Create dialogues instead of lectures. Share the wisdom, but stay open to learning.
In my own case, I’ve felt a sudden rush of energy around writing and speaking—ideas come fast, sometimes too fast. But there’s joy in it. Jupiter in Gemini teaches through connection, not control.
Rahu in Aquarius / Ketu in Leo – Collective Karma, Individual Fire
Perhaps the most profound shift is the nodal transit. Rahu now in Aquarius, Ketu in Leo. The axis between the collective and the individual. Between futuristic thinking and ancient pride. Between outer systems and inner sovereignty.
For those with strong Leo placements, Ketu moving through Leo can feel like a stripping away of ego. Not in a punishing way—but as a call to offer your gifts without needing applause. True leadership emerges not from dominance, but from quiet alignment.
Rahu in Aquarius, meanwhile, can bring obsessions with technology, AI, systems thinking, utopian dreams. I’ve been reflecting on how AI, for example, is changing the spiritual world—how we access information, how we connect, even how we define intuition.
This transit says: Let your individuality be a gift to the collective. But don’t lose your soul trying to fit into someone else’s algorithm.
The Real Inner Work
These transits are not abstract. They ask something real from us.
They ask us to burn, to unravel, to speak, to choose.
To let go of safety and step into truth.
To let go of perfection and step into love.
To let go of the old story and speak a new one into being.
In my own journey, I’m learning again and again that the outer sky mirrors the inner sky. The planets don’t force—they reflect. And when we pause to listen, we remember that astrology is not fate. It’s an invitation.
What Can You Do Now?
- Journal: What is currently unravelling in your life? What does your inner Mars want to fight for?
- Speak your truth: Let Jupiter in Gemini activate your voice—write, speak, share.
- Do less, feel more: Let Venus in Aries remind you that joy is medicine. Choose aliveness.
- Make conscious choices: Rahu in Aquarius can scatter your mind. Practice grounding, especially around media and tech.
Final Words: This Is the Real Yoga
In the end, this is what Yoga was always about.
Not just asana. Not just breath.
But clarity in the storm.
Compassion in the fire.
Freedom in the unknown.
If you are navigating change, you’re not broken. You’re becoming YOU.
With lots of love,
Sandra
